Nicole Flores has been in Sierra County almost her whole life—minus a few adventurous years! She has been teaching for TorC Schools for 13 years. Nicole's favorite thing about working at the Elementary School is the students. She says, "The students are the best part—watching them learn, grow, and have those “aha!” moments never get old. Just as important, my amazing team makes this job even better. They are supportive, encouraging, and help me through the struggles that sometimes come with teaching. I’m truly grateful to work alongside such incredible colleagues." In her free time she likes to watch movies, travel, and do anything that lets her spend time with her family. They are her world—always!
Mackenzie Prude has been in Sierra County for 14 years. This is her first year working for TorC Schools as our Attendance Secretary. She also helps in the office doing many other jobs. Mackenzie's favorite thing about working for the school is that she enjoys being helpful, especially with the kids. When she is not working she likes to read in her free time.
