Our TCES & SEC Staff Shout Winners for October are Megan Hess-Tolley and Kelly Madrid.
Mrs. Megan Hess-Tolley has been proud to call Elephant Butte home for the past 12 years. This is her 6th year teaching 2nd grade at TCES, and she absolutely loves being part of such a supportive, creative, and caring school community. She says that the teachers and staff here truly work together to lift one another up and make a difference for our students every day. When she is not in the classroom, you can usually find her designing on her computer, crocheting badly, painting, cooking up something delicious, diving into a good book or movie, and spending quality time with her family.
Mr. Kelly Madrid has been teaching 4th grade at SEC for the past few years. This year he has been taking on a leadership role and has been the leader of the 4th grade team. He is always very calm but firm with his students and you can see that they truly respect him. We are so happy to have such a great asset to our 4th grade team and school staff!
