Good afternoon TCMS parents and students: Several TCMS students were exposed to a COVID 19 positive individual during their bus ride on April 8th and/or April 9th. The families of all affected students have been contacted via phone personally by our school nurse. The affected students will be quarantining until Tuesday, April 20th per Department of Health and Public Education Department requirements for COVID safe practices. No other TCMS students are affected at this time. If you have any questions, please contact the TCMS office at (575) 894 - 8380 during school hours. If you have questions over this weekend or outside of school hours, you may contact Principal Sam Constant at sconstant@torcschools.net or Nurse Lara Clement at lclement@torcschools.net. This is a reminder, the 6th and 7th grade students who have been quarantined this week due to an exposure on March 29th may return to school tomorrow, Thursday, April 8th, as long as they are not having any symptoms of COVID, such as fever, cough, vomiting, headache, shortness of breath, etc. We are eager to see our students back in class, so please send them prepared with a face mask, fully charged laptop, and water bottle, ready to learn.
