HSHS is accepting donations for Hot Springs High School Jr/Sr Prom on May 15th, 7pm-10pm. We are accepting girls gowns/dresses and boys suits, jackets, and ties. All donations can be brought to HSHS office. Additionally, ANY girls needing help with make-up or hair, please contact Mrs. Bartoo at the high school; she and her daughters have volunteered to assist!

Due to multiple positive COVID-19 cases in Socorro Independent School District, our Middle School Boys and Girls Basketball game is cancelled tomorrow.
Also cancelled is the golf tournament in Socorro on April 20th and Hot Springs High School’s Boys and Girls Basketball games on April 20th. Sad day for the Tigers and the Warriors.

El estado de Nuevo Mexico de Educacion Publica solicita a todos los distritos escolares del estado que aborden la pérdida de aprendizaje debido al impacto de COVID-19. La legislatura estatal aprobó fondos para que los distritos implementen el Programa de tiempo de aprendizaje extendido (10 días adicionales de escuela, 80 horas de desarrollo profesional requerido para todos los maestros y programación extracurricular requerida) y / o K5 Plus (25 días adicionales de escuela). *** ALL THINGS GRADUATION ***
• MANDATORY Graduation Practice Thursday, May 20th - 9am at Tiger Stadium with Caps & Gowns. If you don’t show up for this practice, you DO NOT walk for graduation.
• Graduation Day Parade (Friday, May 21st): one vehicle per senior, no exceptions! Vehicle decorations are encouraged! Meet in Forest Service parking lot; there will be no specific order. Parade will begin at 5:15pm and circle back around to the high school by 6pm for ceremony to begin at 7pm. Be in your caps and gowns and ready to walk with your partner.
• Graduation is outdoors; we can be at 75% capacity. Masks are required and Covid protocols must be followed. Custom masks will be provided by Grad Bash prior to walking!
• Yearbook photos, quotes, and thank you/shout-outs LAST CALL to submit to Ms. Boren kboren@torcschools.net.
• Scholarships will be announced in the newspaper like last year - if you received a college scholarship from any university please meet with Mrs. Bartoo so she can add you to Scholarship recipients list.
• ALL fines and fees must be paid; contact Ms. Trish to see if you owe anything. All courses must be completed as passing before you receive your diploma. If not, you will receive a cover and get your official diploma upon meeting those requirements.

Practices start at 3:45 Mon - Fri and vary between T or C Municipal course and Sierra Del Rio course in Elephant Butte.


SENIORS - Josten's will be here THIS Thursday, the 8th, to order or pick up caps & gowns and announcements. Please come by the High School to visit with them between 1:30 and 3:30!


HSHS JROTC is sponsoring a Blood Drive on Thursday, April 15th, from 9am to 1pm. Please sign up in the office. If you are 16 years old, you must have a waiver signed by your parent or guardian. If you are 17 or 18 years old, you will just need your ID.
