Happy Principal's Day! 🎉
Today we celebrate the incredible leaders who guide our schools with heart, dedication, and vision. Thank you to our principals for the countless ways you support students, staff, and families every day! 👏🍎📚 #PrincipalsDay #ThankYouPrincipals #TCMSD

On behalf of the Truth or Consequences Municipal Schools, we extend our sincere thanks to Rebecca Bartoo for her service and dedication as a member of the school board. Her commitment to advocating for our schools, students, and staff has made a lasting impact on our district.
We are especially grateful for her tireless work during the recent legislative session, where she played a key role in the successful passage of SB82. Her collaboration with state lawmakers helped lower the mill levy requirement for PSFA-funded projects, which now qualifies our district to move forward with the much-needed replacement of our middle school.
While her role on the board has come to a close, we look forward to continuing our partnership with her in a new capacity as she continues to champion public education and the success of our students.
Thank you, Board Secretary Bartoo, for your service, your advocacy, and your unwavering support.

Hi Families:
TCES/ SEC will hold its fourth annual spelling bee on Friday, January 17th starting at 8:30am. Classroom spelling bees were held the week of January 6th, and one to two students from each class will participate in the school spelling bee. If your child participates in the school spelling bee, you are welcome to come watch, you’ll just need to check in with the office as usual. You will also have the option to watch the bee via zoom at
https://zoom.us/j/95398559484?pwd=CZ1emhldRZyPahDDZd6SLQIT5yo33B.1
or use Zoom Meeting ID: 953 9855 9484 with a Passcode: Tigers
Our school spelling champion will represent us in the El Paso Spelling Bee. The winner of THAT bee will participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, which will be in the late spring of 2025 in National Harbor, Maryland.
Please note that during the school competition, students will be given words randomly, without regard for age or grade. The spelling bee is single elimination; the last speller remaining in the competition is the winner. For more information about the Scripps program, for study tips, and for reading lists, please visit
