A book vending machine has a profound impact on literacy by making reading exciting and accessible for students. It encourages a love for reading by allowing children to choose their own books, fostering a sense of ownership and enthusiasm for reading. When students earn tokens through positive behavior, it reinforces the joy of learning and helps build lifelong reading habits—both key predictors of reading proficiency and academic success. A big THANK YOU to Molina Health Care for donating the Book Vending Machine to Arrey Elementary. THANK YOU to Steve Buckley and Rebecca Dow of the T or C Rotary Club for the books and connecting TCMSD with Molina Health Care!
